There are Two Subscription Options to Choose From
If you're ready to commit to a more vital LoveTribe community, select a subscription level under Membership Options below. Just as most of our events have a sliding-scale fee, our subscription levels have a sliding scale in order to keep membership affordable for everyone. The majority of your membership subscription supports local organizing tools, training and coordination for creating more local events.

The Bigger Picture
When a small group of us started LoveTribe five years ago, we were moved by the desire to be more playful and authentic in our lives and relationships and we were committed to the simple idea that people
should feel comfortable and safe being touched and touching each other in ways that are consensual, nurturing and playful.
Our community grew from a handful of people to dozens, and then hundreds and then thousands within a few years. Hundreds of people contributed their energy and ideas to create a diverse offering of events. Through all this time, we avoided the media, preferring to grow by word of mouth. We have continually expanded our website from a simple homepage to a full-scale community-facilitation site that has processed many thousands of RSVPs for over a thousand LoveTribe events from Los Angeles to Canada. And our members have been making amazing connections through our community... last year, over 30,000 personal messages between members were processed through our site. Our Community has brought together friends, snuggle buddies, lovers and even a few marriages!
As a community-driven organization, we have grown and diversified our event offerings and established a
non-profit operating structure. While LoveTribe has many hundreds of volunteers and planners, our community now also requires staff to maintain and improve our website, handle bookkeeping required for our non-profit status, as well as train and coach event organizers in several cities.
Last year, at an open LoveTribe community planning meeting, we voted to require a subscription membership for anyone RSVPing to our events. We made this decision because while event revenues alone have never covered all our costs, we wanted to continue to keep event costs accessible for everyone.
